Hai Hi2115NB-IOT chip:
Hi2115 is a system-on-a-chip (SoC) that works at cellular frequency. It uses an on-chip application processor with integrated memory to support small-footprint IoT applications, and can also communicate with external MCU through various digital interfaces.
Hi2115 can work in the frequency range of 698~960MHz and 1695~2180MHz, and the system bandwidth is 200kHz. It aims to communicate with mobile network operators’ infrastructure equipment using 3GPPNB-IoT radio protocol.
This solution enables datagram-based radio communication to have unparalleled deep penetration characteristics in buildings in remote and non-line-of-sight environments.
The system aims to support a large number of connected terminal devices in each cell, and supports adaptive modulation and coding and extension schemes, so as to make a wide trade-off between coverage and bit rate.
Hi2115NB-IOT chip features:
It supports 3GPP bands in the range of 698-960mhz and 1695-2180mhz.
Support 3GPPNB-IOT air interface and protocol
Compared with GPRS, it provides an extended coverage of 20dB (therefore, the maximum coupling loss is 164dB, which is equivalent to the link budget of 179dB)
Integrated with radio transceiver, protocol processor and NB-IOT, it supports QPSK in OFDM downlink and BPSK/QPSK (single tone and multi-tone) in SC-FDMA uplink.
It fully complies with FCC regulations on emission spectrum mask and out-of-band emission.
Dedicated application processor with on-chip memory (256KBFlash and 64KBRAM)
Integrated peripheral devices, including temperature sensor, capacitive touch sensor, ADCs,DACs, programmable current source and interrupt comparator.
