It presents adhesive labels to the placement head instead of electronic components, allowing the machine to apply PCB protective stickers automatically during the assembly cycle.
This JUKI label feeder handles high-temperature protective stickers designed to survive solder reflow and wave soldering processes. Common applications include thermal insulation pads, EMI shielding stickers, gold finger protective tape, barcode labels, and fiducial markers. Labels are supplied on liner-backed rolls; the feeder peels the label from the liner and presents the exposed adhesive surface to the placement nozzle.
By integrating sticker application into the pick-and-place program, the JUKI label feeder eliminates manual labeling stations and keeps the full assembly process on one machine line.
