The JUKI SMT Label Feeder is a feeder-slot-mounted label application module for JUKI pick-and-place machines, primarily used to apply barcode, QR code, and serial number labels onto PCBs during SMT assembly. Designed as a high-precision PCB traceability label feeder, it replaces manual labeling stations and enables unit-level traceability on JUKI RS, KE, and FX lines — without the need for a standalone print-and-apply machine. As a versatile SMT label feeder, it is also capable of placing shielding cans, foam pads, and double-sided tapes.
Equipped with a fiber-optic detection system, this feeder ensures accurate label presentation and prevents feeding errors. When the sensor detects an empty pick position, it automatically advances the label strip; once a label is sensed, feeding pauses immediately to prevent double-feeding or skipping. This guarantees that only one label is presented to the mounter nozzle at a time. The module accommodates various label dimensions within its supported backing paper width range, making it adaptable to different PCB layout requirements.
