The Radial Tape Feeder with Auto Cut with Auto Cut is installed on an automatic insertion machine as the front-end feeding module of the insertion system. It uses mechanical grippers to pick up materials from the feeder and automatically insert through-hole components. This electric radial tape feeder can automatically feed through-hole components (such as electrolytic capacitors, diodes, LEDs, and varistors) at a rate of approximately 4,000 components per hour, while also cutting leads to preset lengths (accuracy ±0.2mm) and bending them to selectable angles.
The feeder is compatible with 12.7mm and 15.0mm pitch tapes without reconfiguration and can handle components with a maximum diameter of 15mm and a maximum height of 30mm, measuring 550 × 110 × 130 mm. This radial tape feeder can be customized for specific machine models, can replace feeders from specific brands, and reduces changeover time from 25 minutes to approximately 8 minutes.
