The Stick Feeder is a free-standing tube feeder designed to supply components to SMT pick and place machines from a dedicated floor position. Unlike machine-mounted tube feeders that occupy a feeder slot, this unit stands independently next to the placement line and presents components through a delivery track or conveyor interface.
The stick feeder uses a single-leg support frame that anchors to the factory floor while keeping the tube magazine and feed mechanism accessible from the operator side. The magazine holds approximately 20 tubes — enough for a full production shift of high-mix boards without reloading.
This tube feeder for SMT handles components packed in plastic tubes or aluminum tubes: SOIC, SSOP, TSSOP, small QFP, rectangular connectors, and crystal oscillators. A pneumatic pusher or vibratory mechanism advances components from the active tube to a fixed pick-up position, where the placement head retrieves them.
By moving tube-packed components off the machine and onto a dedicated floor unit, the floor-standing stick feeder frees feeder slots for tape-reel components and extends the available component mix without machine reconfiguration.

What We Do for Your SMT Production Line?
You only need to provide component samples and machine model numbers. Based on your exact part dimensions, our engineers design custom feeder adapters and CNC-machine each rail from scratch. We strictly avoid off-the-shelf parts or generic sizes to ensure optimal orientation. Before leaving our Shenzhen factory, every unit undergoes a full operational test on a matching machine, and we provide a performance video so you can verify its functionality prior to delivery.
We provide dedicated rail adapters for all major SMT brands, including ASM SIPLACE, YAMAHA, FUJI, Panasonic, JUKI, and Samsung.
Tag and Tube Feeders: 4–7 weeks.
MOQ: 1 unit. We support single-unit testing on your production line before scaling to mass production.
We fabricate custom nozzles from ceramics, tungsten carbide, and rubber, precision-formed to match your specific part geometry while maintaining a feed failure rate below 0.5%. To streamline your procurement, feeders and nozzles are shipped together in a single package.
