The SMT Label Feeder For JUKI is a feeder-slot label applicator that peels labels from a liner-backed roll and presents them to the JUKI placement nozzle for pick-and-place like standard components. It installs in the JUKI feeder bank and can be programmed as the final placement step after solder paste printing and SPI inspection — before reflow when reflow-rated labels are used, or after reflow and AOI for final serial marking. It runs alongside standard component feeders in the same placement recipe, and the DataMatrix or QR code it places can be read by SPI, AOI and test equipment to bind each board to its process data in the MES. SMT process engineers and line operators at EMS and ODM factories producing automotive ECUs, medical devices, industrial controls and consumer electronics use it to eliminate manual labeling stations and reduce misaligned, missing or unreadable labels that disrupt downstream traceability.
Key Features
A label roll is mounted on the unwind spool, and a stepper motor drives the liner through a front-mounted peeling blade. The label separates from its backing and advances to a fixed presentation position facing upward toward the JUKI placement nozzle. A fiber optic sensor detects the label edge and stops the motor at the exact pick coordinate. After pickup, the next label is advanced automatically, and the spent liner is collected on the motor-driven rewind spool.
The peel blade is positioned at the front of the feeder, so the label travels only a short distance from separation to pick-up. This helps keep narrow labels under 10 mm from drifting and supports placement repeatability of ±0.3 mm.
The feeder installs directly into a standard JUKI feeder slot and draws 24V DC from the machine bus. The placement system recognizes it as a native feeder, with no external PLC, controller, or software patch required.
Labeling runs as a programmed placement step, so the DataMatrix or QR code is placed with the same coordinates as any other component. The code can then be read downstream by SPI, AOI, and test equipment to bind each board to its process history in the MES.

What We Do for Your SMT Production Line?
You only need to provide component samples and machine model numbers. Based on your exact part dimensions, our engineers design custom feeder adapters and CNC-machine each rail from scratch. We strictly avoid off-the-shelf parts or generic sizes to ensure optimal orientation. Before leaving our Shenzhen factory, every unit undergoes a full operational test on a matching machine, and we provide a performance video so you can verify its functionality prior to delivery.
We provide dedicated rail adapters for all major SMT brands, including ASM SIPLACE, YAMAHA, FUJI, Panasonic, JUKI, and Samsung. Beyond standard platforms, we also supply feeders for specialty, non-standard, and custom-built equipment.
Tag and Tube Feeders: 4–7 weeks.
MOQ: 1 unit. We support single-unit testing on your production line before scaling to mass production.
We fabricate custom nozzles from ceramics, tungsten carbide, and rubber, precision-formed to match your specific part geometry while maintaining a feed failure rate below 0.5%. To streamline your procurement, feeders and nozzles are shipped together in a single package.
