ASM TX Series 88mm Label Feeder for High-Volume SMT Production
The ASM TX Series Four-Channel 88mm Label Feeder is designed specifically for the ASM TX Series labeling platform and is a third-party module designed to simplify parallel labeling processes. It automatically peels, aligns, and feeds four self-adhesive label strips at once, allowing the TX labeling head to handle all four channels simultaneously. This configuration eliminates the need for a separate labeling station or additional operators. More importantly, its mechanical design ensures no calibration drift even after prolonged use.
This feeder is compatible with a variety of materials and easily handles paper labels, FPC reinforced film, polyester tape, foam pads, dustproof mesh, high-temperature resistant polyimide tape, EMI shielding film, and standard release paper. A single module supports four label strips with a maximum total width of 88mm. If your production needs change, each channel can be easily reconfigured for single-line or multi-line labeling without any hardware modifications.
Parallel Feeding Cuts Downtime and Changeovers
When a PCB requires four different labels, standard single-channel feeders force the pick-and-place head to run four separate pick cycles. The 4-channel 88mm feeder changes this by presenting all four labels simultaneously within a single 88mm-wide window. Instead of traveling back and forth across the machine, the labeling head can grab all four labels in one coordinated motion. This parallel feeding approach drastically reduces cycle time, minimizes mechanical wear on the placement head, and cuts down on material changeover frequency.
