SMT Label Feeder for PCB Assembly — Custom Label Placement
The SMT Label Feeder for PCB Assembly is a custom label placement feeder that mounts on SMT pick-and-place machines and applies adhesive-backed labels, protective films, and thermal pads to PCBs during the assembly cycle. It replaces manual labeling stations with automated, programmable placement that runs inside the normal machine cycle.
This SMT label feeder is available in two configurations. The single-track version feeds one label lane from a standard liner-backed roll, handling labels from 3×3 mm micro-markers up to 50×50 mm large pads. The multi-column version splits the tape into 2 to 4 parallel lanes, feeding multiple labels simultaneously from one roll to double or quadruple throughput.
By integrating custom label placement into the pick-and-place program, the feeder eliminates separate labeling operators, reduces placement error, and keeps the full assembly process on one machine line.
